The materials of mechanical seal: cemented carbide + cemented carbide + rubber ring + structural parts / 304 stainless steel.
The main point of installation:
1. When installing, the surface which will contact with seal should be coated with clean machinery oil;
2. Seal chamber of the equipment should keep clean, seal parts should be clean, seal face should be intact, and any seal parts shouldn’t have any impurity and dust;
3. During installation, it is strictly prohibited to knock and percuss to avoid damaging the mechanical seal;
4. The diameter runout of the spindle can’t be more than 0.04 mm, and axial movement can’t be more than 0.01 mm;
5. When install seal end plate, tighten bolts must stress evenly, and the seal end plate should be perpendicular to the shaft;
6. After installation, drive the ring with hand to make the ring flexible mobile on the shaft, and the ring will have a certain elasticity;
7. After installation, move the shaft by hand, the shaft should have no weight feeling;
8. Before the equipment operating, it must be full of liquid to prevent dry friction;
9. to the liquid which is easy to crystallize and has particles, and the temperature is higher than 80 ℃, it should adopt corresponding washing, filtering and cooling measures.
